The purpose of this event was to launch a new initiative in which ABCK serves as the bridge between the many US companies looking for top talent to fill local positions, and the motivated and well-educated students coming back to Kuwait looking for employment opportunities in the private sector.
The evening marked the continuation of ABCK’s drive to recruit more Kuwaiti professionals as members and reflects ABCK’s intention to serve as a forum for networking and dialogue around the business issues facing American companies in Kuwait and the impact of Kuwaitization policies.
Several key representatives from Berkeley Research Group, Boeing, General Motors, Honeywell, Al-Tamimi & Company and KGL were present to provide attendees with prime opportunities for networking as well as provide insight into their activities in Kuwait and potential job openings within their firms.

“We are thrilled to host this event and kick off ABCK’s new initiative by sharing a Thanksgiving meal that represents our joint affinity and mutual interest in maximizing the business opportunity between the United States and Kuwait. We hope that ABCK will begin to raise its profile and serve as a bridge between Kuwait and US business communities in a mutually beneficial manner,” said Jared Willis, ABCK Board Member.
