The American Business Council Kuwait (ABCK) celebrated its 33rd anniversary with a black-tie Gala at the U.S. Embassy. The sold-out event featured many dignitaries including U.S. Ambassador Lawrence Silverman and Australian Ambassador Jonathan Gilbert. ABCK Chair Dr. Juliet Dinkha kicked off the evening with a brief introduction about ABCK, highlighting the organization’s many achievements over the past year and its upcoming events. She then introduced Ambassador Silverman who provided remarks on the strong bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the United States.
Dr. Dinkha then handed out crystal recognition plaques to ABCK sponsors Boeing, Cadillac Alghanim, Citibank, Raytheon, KRH, and Alissar. ABCK volunteers were also recognized.
On a beautiful Kuwaiti night, in an elegantly decorated embassy courtyard, guests dined on delicious cuisine prepared by chefs from the Four Seasons. In the background, the music of local band JamStart played. There was even a dance floor, making this a real celebration.
ABCK hots many festivities throughout the year but the Gala is its premiere event. ABCK thanks its sponsors and volunteers who helped make it a night to remember.
