The non-profit organization’s Vice Chair Oswaldo Rueda Kicked off the all-day event with some opening remarks. The golf teams then swung into action hoping to stay under par and bogey-free. By midday Team Fluor emerged as the champion. The team members were presented with gold trophies by ABCK Chair Dr. Juliet Dinkha. She also thanked Sahara Kuwait Golf Resort for providing all the support on the course.
Dr. Dinkha also thanked the sponsors who made the very popular event possible. They included Platinum Sponsor KGL represented by Patrick Harb, and Gold Sponsor Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa, represented by General Manager Mr. Savino Leone. KLM has participated in the tournament as a Gold Sponsor, represented by its country manager Mr. Rajat Kumar. KLM was the provider of the biggest prize, one return ticket to Amsterdam to attend the AFKL Open 2018.
A number of ABCK board members also attended the award ceremony. Chair Dr. Dinkha also thanked the ABCK Staff and volunteers who helped put another successful golf tournament into the ABCK history books.
